Redwood Christian Schools is in the early stages of expansion of our current Home School program. Mrs. Sue Abbott has been named Home School Director and is working diligently to find ways to best serve and partner with the many Home School families in our community. DAY-SCHOOL CLASSES FOR HOME SCHOOL STUDENTS: RCS currently offers Home Schoolers the opportunity to join with RCS Day-School students in on-campus classes such as band, art, Algebra, Biology, etc. Click HERE to see the complete listing of on-campus classes RCS offers. ON-LINE CLASSES FOR HOME SCHOOL STUDENTS: In addition to the on-campus classes, RCS offers over 60 on-line classes. Click HERE to see the complete listing of on-line classes RCS offers. WORKSHOPS FOR HOME SCHOOL STUDENTS: Click HERE find out about the HOME SCHOOL WORKSHOPS we are offering beginning January, 2009. FEES FOR HOME SCHOOL STUDENTS: Click HERE to see fees for On-Line and Day-School classes for Home School Students. We have a 2-part expansion-plan for the immediate future: (1) We plan to offer K - 8th grade Home School Enrichment workshops beginning in January, 2009. We will be posting information on these workshops as they are developed. (2) Begining with the 2009 - 2010 school year we plan to further expand and add Private Satellite Program services for K - 12th grades. "Private Satellite Program" services will include filing an annual private school affidavit, maintaining cumulative records for each student, curriculum oversight by a credentialed teacher, help and support for our PSP families, etc. We are working on setting the fees for all Home School opportunities. We are continuing to research the requirements for High School students to participate in the RCS sports programs and other extra-curricular activities.
