Crossroads is conveniently located near the intersection of I-580 and I-238 at Neighborhood Church in Castro Valley, California. Offering instruction in Kindergarten through 6th Grade, the mission of Redwood Christian Schools and Crossroads is to provide a Christ-centered education which is able to equip students for daily living and eternal life. CCS is accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) as well as the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
God has richly blessed and strengthened the ministry at CCS through dedicated faculty, staff, parents, and students since its opening in 1975. Our experienced faculty, many who have been in education for 20 years or more, are committed to nourishing a strong partnership between the home, school, and church in a safe, loving environment. A strong academic program, taught from a foundation of biblical truth and embracing a biblical world view, is supplemented by specialists who teach Physical Education, Classroom Music, and Art. Other elective extracurricular activities include Band, Royal Choir, and a variety of sports including basketball, volleyball, track, and bowling (4th through 6th grades). Also, Extended Day Care, a before and after-school day care program for students, is available beginning at 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
